Who We Are
A Practical Lab for Smarter Buying Decisions
Welcome to Tips Liam — a hands-on testing platform built for people who want clear answers, honest evaluations, and products that actually work in real life. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by exaggerated claims, paid reviews, or conflicting recommendations, you’re in the right place.
The Story Behind Tips Liam
Tips Liam wasn’t created as a content farm or affiliate shortcut. It started as a personal effort to bring engineering logic and real-world testing into everyday buying decisions.
With a background in engineering and years of hands-on industry experience, I found myself constantly frustrated by how difficult it was to find straightforward, evidence-based product advice — especially for home appliances, tools, and essential equipment.
Most reviews focused on marketing features, not performance. Most “best of” lists lacked testing. Most recommendations weren’t written by people who actually used the products.
So I built Tips Liam as a testing-first platform — a place where products are evaluated the way real users experience them: through setup, daily use, limitations, and long-term reliability.
What began as individual product testing quickly evolved into a structured review lab and a growing resource for people who value clarity over hype.
Our Philosophy
“Good products don’t need exaggeration — they need honest testing.”
At Tips Liam, we believe:
- Real testing matters more than specifications
- Comparisons should be fair, transparent, and repeatable
- Reviews should help people avoid regret, not push sales
Every product is evaluated using defined criteria, side-by-side comparisons where possible, and real usage scenarios — not just manufacturer claims.
